"I don’t know what that means” is a prime example of Patrik Evereus’ raw style which, in its chaos, prohibits the viewers from projecting their intellectualizations upon the work and instead forces them to communicate with the work on an instinctual and emotional level that cannot be strictly defined or rationalized. This piece, with its fractured and restructured symbolism engulfed in slashing energetic swathes of color, makes us feel both uneasy and in an undefinable way, at ease with the conflicts and chaos of our own lives.
